About
In the Crossroads Children’s Ministry, we want a child’s journey to be a great adventure learning through creative methods such as drama, music, video, puppetry, and much more. Our committed volunteers want to help the family in building a spiritual foundation for kids. Parents and children (ages birth-5th grade) are invited to visit during any weekend service, where you will experience a safe and fun environment.
Nursery (Birth- 1 Years)
The Children’s Ministry works hard to create a loving and safe environment for babies so that the parent can enjoy the service. To help you get to know us better, below is information regarding the quality of care we provide each service:
- We use a paging system should you need to return to the nursery for any reason.
- Toys are disinfected for every service.
- Volunteers undergo a background check to ensure they are not a risk to the children.
- Unless you instruct otherwise, we will page you if your child cries continuously for 15 minutes.
- Weekly Registration Forms are used to provide you with maximum opportunity to give us information and what we can do to provide the best possible care.
Tyketown (2 yrs old to Pre-Kindergarten)
Tyketown is a place where 3 year olds through Pre-Kindergarten kids get excited about God! In Tyketown kids learn that “God made them”, “God loves them” AND that “Jesus is their Forever Friend.” We teach these 3 concepts in Tyketown by spending a more focused time in small groups and a 25 minute large group experience. In the Bakery, one of our small groups, your child will have fun in a small group setting with a story surprise box and activities that go along with the large group teaching. Town Hall, our large group experience, is the place we meet to sing songs, visit with our puppet friends, and hear exciting Bible stories. Our hope and prayer is that kids will realize that Jesus is their forever friend.
K-Town (Kindergarten – 5th grades)
A high-paced environment awaits kids that come to K-Town. Kids will experience a learning atmosphere filled with music/media and dramas. Fun elements are used to teach kids about how to live the Christian life at home, at school, and in their neighborhoods. Throughout the year, events are planned to get your child involved with other kids, adults, and with God. Activities include pool parties, trips to camp, and much more.
