KIDZ NEW BELIEVERS CLASS

If your child is starting to ask those “tough” questions about “spiritual things” such as “How do I become a Christian?”, “Where do we go when we die?”, “When can I get baptized?”,  or “What does Communion mean?” then maybe it’s time to sign them up for our Kidz New Believers Class that will be taking place on Saturday, November 14 from 9-10AM at Xroads Andover in the Connections Cafe Room. This is a class for Parents and Kids to take together. BERENSTAIN BEARS LUNCH

Michael Berenstain (Author of  The Berenstain Bears Series) will be at Crossroads Christian Church (Andover)  on Thursday, November 12 from 12-1pm for preschool ages. Bring a lunch and the family as you enjoy a reading of the new “Give Thanks” Berenstain Bears book as well as a drawing demonstration, book signing, character appearance and more! ALLERGIES

Please know that our staff has spent a lot of time minimizing the possibility of allergic reactions in our Children’s Ministry (Peanut Free environment, no brought in snacks, etc); however, at this time, we do allow some candy to be given as prizes but we also offer an alternative should there be dietary restrictions. Please always alert the volunteer in the classroom if there are any allergies or dietary notes for your child. Thanks for helping us be a safe place! PUMPKIN PATCH A SUCCESS!!!

Thanks to all who participated in Pumpkin Patch 2009! The reports are in and it was an amazing event! The buzz is on Facebook, in the halls of Crossroads and on the streets in the community! The weather was beautiful, the food tasty, the drama moving, the games fun and the animals and hay ride a blast. We gave over 1100 people hay rides each night and there were over 400 hours of volunteer hours in the event itself!  We were even honored to have new families return for the weekend services!  See below for some pictures!

YOUTH BASKETBALL

Be sure to sign up for Youth Basketball this winter at Crossroads! All games and practices take place at Xroads Gym in Andover.  Age break downs are 5-7, 8-9. 10-12 and 13-15yrs old. The cost is $50 and sign-ups will be on the weekends of Nov 7-8, 14-15 and 21-22 at the back of  the auditorium in Andover. SAFE & FUN: Our goal is to have a safe place for kids where parents are comfortable leaving thier kids and kids WANT to stay! We want church to be the best hour of your child’s week!
